The Holy Kaaba is the center of mosque with the holy stone came from Jannah (The Black Stone), Maqaam Ibraaheem, Mount Safa and Marwah and the notorious Well of ZamZam. Regardless of time and country, whenever Muslim pray in the direction of Masjid al Haram al makky. Every year millions of Muslims all around the world visit this holiest place and during Hajj time the view of human galaxy is breath-taking, where more than 2 million people gather to praise the glory of One God and offer the obligatory Hajj.

 

 

* Mountain of Illumination (Jabal Al Noor) *

Jabal Al Noor is eminent place because of its Hira cave, the cave where our beloved Prophet Mohamed PBUH received the first revelation. Mountain of light is rocky peak that is visible for many kilometers around. The sacred mountain has great importance in Islamic history and proffer soaring views of Holy Makkah and the Al Haram Al Makky from its summit. Jabal al Noor is a popular spot for pilgrims, located short drive northwest of Old City.

 

 

* Bir Tuwa *

Once the isolated and rugged valley in Makkah is now crammed with buildings. Located at the bottom of Makkah at the north direction in Jarwal. Bir Tuwa is a famous well in Jarwal where Prophet Mohamed PBUH spent the night in and the next morning He PBUH cleaned himself with the water of this well and entered Makkah. The word Tuwa means the pleated well.

 

 

* Aisha Masjid *    

Masjid  Aisha is the second largest Masjid in Makkah with the capacity to accommodate 47,084 worshippers at the same time. It is located at Muzdalifah road in Al-Naseem neighborhood.  Aisha mosque is an important place for pilgrims as here they put Ihram and those who are doing subsequent Umrah renew their Ihram. * Jannat Al Mu’alla * 

The second most important cemetery in the Islamic world.  Jannat Al Mu’alla is located near the Al Haram Al Makky, where many of Prophet’s PBUH ancestors are buried, notably His mother (Hadrat Bibi Aminah), first wife (Hadrat Khadija) and grandfather (Hazrat Abdul Muttalib). The historical cemetery is famous even before the birth of Holy Prophet SAWW and remains so to current day. Jannat Al Mu’alla is also called as Al Hajun and surrounded by white wall. Due to the floor of 1925, the historical site saw massive destruction and as a result no tombs, domes or gravestones remain. Small piles of rocks mark where the bodies are interred. Now people pay their respect to the entire area as there are no identification marks. One can visit cemetery throughout the year.

 

 

* Jabal Al-Rahma *

Jabal Al-Rahma holds immense importance in Islamic history as it a place from where Prophet PBUH delivered the unforgettable farewell sermon. A small white pillar indicates the place at the top of the hillock where Prophet PBUH stood more than 14 centuries ago. Every pilgrim loves to reach Jabal Al-Rahma and pray in its vicinity.

 

 

* Jamarat *

Throwing stones at the Jamarat pillar is a mandatory ritual of holy pilgrimage, done by Prophet Ibrahim A.S. the three stone pillars are the locations where Satan stopped Prophet Ibrahim AS from sacrificing his son. In order to stop the devil, Prophet Ibrahim AS pelted stones at him. Since then pilgrim follow the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim and throw stones at the Satan.

 

 

    *  Masjid  Al Jinn *

This famous mosque is a place where Prophet Mohamed PBUH recites the Holy Quran to the Jinn tribe who then embraced the Islam. The historical mosque is also known by several other names including Masjid Bayah, Masjid Haras, the Mosque of Guards and the Mosque of Allegiance. Though praying here is not a part of Hajj or Umrah but people find it thrilling to visit the place where Jinn tribe embrace Islam.
